Larry Wayne Blakley, 69, passed away Sunday, July 12, 2015. He was preceded in death by his parents, Estelle and Billy D. Blakley. Larry was born in Dallas and raised in San Antonio. He was very athletic and excelled in basketball and baseball, he earned scholarships to Sul Ross and Angelo State University. He attended San Angelo State and Sul Ross State University before enlisting in the Air Force where he served for six and a half years. One and a half years in Japan and Vietnam, one year in Korea and two and a half years in Austin. More recently he enjoyed antiquing with his wife and his friend, Dick, and he always looked forward to the annual Blakley Dove Hunt. Larry was known for having a witty sense of humor and was a fine example of what a loving heart should be.

Survivors: Larry is survived by his wife of 13 years, Patricia Blakley; children, Devorah and her husband, Martin Jakubowsky, Robert Blakley and his wife, Kim, Kindra and her husband, Chris Quentin, and Brent Weatherall and his wife, Lisa; grandchildren, Jessica Krause, Carla and her husband, Cedric Coombs, Devon Jakubowsky, Peyton Blakley, Walker Blakley, Riley Blakley, Peyton Zeplin, Triston Zeplin, Emily Quentin, Kaitlyn Quentin, Zora Quentin and Logan Weatherall; great-grandchildren, Kaden and Olivia Coombs; siblings, Sherry and her husband, Richard Pate, and Carla and her husband, Stephen Upchurch; and many nieces and nephews.
