Mary Ellen McCready, age 61, passed away on December 2, 2007 in San Antonio, Texas. A life resident of the San Antonio area and member of University United Methodist Church, Mary Ellen was a former longtime member of Travis Park United Methodist Church. She was on the Board of Directors of the Saddle Light Center for therapeutic horseback riding, and a member of the Woman's Club of San Antonio. She was devoted to working for her charities. She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Gary A. McCready of Boerne; children, Kathy Pemberton and husband Art of Helotes; Robert McCready and wife Sarah of Dallas; and Allison McCready of San Antonio; five grandchildren: Matthew, Austin, Lily, Luke and Abby; and her mother, Hester Ebert of San Antonio.
