I will always remember Zelma Lea ! She was fun and generous! I will always think about the times we spent Rockin'- our way of doing nothing but driving from Buddy's to Jay's to the Austin Highway Frontier and the Bun and Barrel. What a blast we had!
This cold weather makes me remember Zelma working the Christmas tree lot at Blanco/Weisman. Every December I would go help her serve hot Dr, Pepper with lemon slices to all the folks who stopped in. We were cold but had lots of fun meeting new people (boys). She was a riot and I can still see our frozen laughs in the cold night air. Gone but never forgotten.
