I remember Louis from High School. He was always friendly and funny! You always saw a smile on his face and he always seemed to be a free spirit. I see that the year of his passing isn't noted. Regardless, his passing came far too soon.
The way I remember Louis is being that lead trumpet player in the band who was the loudest....He played with his heart and seemed to have loved every minute of it.
I enjoyed playing with and knowing Louie for 4 years in the high school marching and jazz bands. Others have said it very appropriately - his smile and friendliness were his trademark. I am sorry to hear of his passing. I'm sure that many miss him.
